Catastrophic Failure

I'm in Las Vegas giving a live training. Yesterday we started getting inquiries from people using another automated webinar service.

The reports were unsettling to say the least.

The customers from the other service claimed their events were erased. There was literally no way to retrieve them and if they wanted to use the service again they would need to set up things again.

And as one person put it...and then hope they don't make the same mistake again.

Today, we were hit with more inquiries along the same line and confirmation from the service provider of the other webinar service that it was not a isolated incident, it was an error on their part.

Or as they put it a "typical Monday Morning mess up..."

That is more like a "Yowza.... Catastrophic F-UP" to me.

Anyhow, so you don't have to write me personally. That mistake is not possible with StealthSeminar. You will never find anything erased, missing, deleted, overwritten, etc. so you will never have to rebuild anything from scratch or just be left hanging with your events disappearing. Even in a "worst-case-scenario" we have multiple redundant fail-safes, both on-site and off.

New Features to Improve Your Life

We have another great update for you. Here are the list of new goodies:

Chat Room Improvements
-During live broadcasts, any chats entered in the broadcast panel will appear as blue from the host
-If you attend the webinar broadcast and your email address is the same as the q&a email, your chats will appear blue as a host.
-Hosts can now delete comments and ban users directly from the chat box.
-Banned users' messages will not be visible to anyone except the banned person - they won't know anything happened.

More advanced live broadcasting options:
-Adobe Flash Media Encoder Support
-Wirecast support

Other Improvements:
-Improved augmented counter can set attendeed as well as capacity. ie, 437/500 will max the room out at 437 people of 500 available seats.
You can also use 437/ which will not show a maximum seat count at all but show 437 attending.

-Server farm optimized for load balancing and heavy attendance

Last weeks StealthSeminar Version 3 Sneak Peek was met with HUGE accolades. Thanks much for everyone that responded.

Most of you know, I have personally been using the StealthSeminar system since 2008, we opened our doors to the public in March, 2010. At that time, this “automated webinar” industry did not even exist. Since then lot’s of imitations have gotten into the field. That is to be expected. And as we innovate, we will let them continue to try to imitate.

So anyhow, that brings up…. last weeks sneak peek live webinar.

You guys and gals loved it – as we expected you would.

In fact, we flat out blew many-a-minds.

However we are getting lots of emails asking us if we can replay it. If it is possible for those that were not on the LIVE event, to see it run, in automated replay mode…

YEP, it was a live event. SERIOUSLY.

YEP, that means if you are currently using GoToWebinar, we have functionality coming in V3 to run live events.

Plus we have tons more innovation heading your way. Anyhow, I was talking to Greg (Co-Founder and Technical Genius) today, mentioned the requests for the automated replay and so we decided to make it happen.

I will set it to an automated webinar inside the Control Panel.

Then you will be watching the webinar in “StealthSeminar Live.”

Keep these things in mind:

1) The webinar was actually done last week
2) You will be seeing some V3 functionality
